The organization has been operational for (1) one year in Sheema community. We as SHA want to see teenage mothers and the youth who are empowered and are able to sustain themselves and be able to look after their children. The youth need to also be empowered and skilled in IGSs (Income Generating Skills) so that they are able to create their own jobs which boosts their self-esteem and makes them responsible citizens of our nation Uganda.
The organization has been operational for (1) one year in Sheema community. We as SHA want to see teenage mothers and the youth who are empowered and are able to sustain themselves and be able to look after their children.
Shine Hope Africa is focused on serving the community of Sheema socially and economically as we restore hope of the teenage mothers who are pulled down by the struggles of motherhood and also building up their self esteem.
This is our great vision as an organization where we focus on Skilling the youth and teenage mothers in IGS(income generating skills ) so as to make them self reliable, responsible and can sustain themselves which will improve on their standards of living.
We as SHA, we create awareness about positive parenting to the teenage mothers and move with them on this journey of motherhood, this makes them feel good about it and even become better mothers for their new born babies since most of them are always rejected, abandoned when they get pregnant, so the awareness, teaching we bring to them, builds positive life in them.
To restore hope to the disadvantaged teen mothers, youth and the women by ensuring that they receive quality and competent skills to survive on and transform their lives.
To reduce the unemployment gap in the youth.
To transform the young generation into job creators and reduce poverty.
To promote dialogue, networking and transformation exchange.
To improve on members’ abilities and skills through training programs and organizing developmental workshops related to improvement of standards of living.
To create awareness among the youth especially teenage girls about the use of contraceptives, safe sex and practice of ABC.
